Today a 17 year old young man drove 3 hours to ask Bill's permission to DATE Ruth.
All of our son-in-laws have asked permission to marry our daughters, but no one has ever asked permission to date one of them.
I am amazed by and thankful for the respect this young man has for us, Ruth and himself.
I am looking forward to getting to know him better.
