when I was a child we moved a few times 
I attended 3 elementary schools, 1 Junior High and 2 High Schools 
I thought that was normal
on second thought maybe we moved more than a few times
all those moves taught me to not get attached to a "place"

Bill's parents built a house when he was 5 or 6, his mom is still there
he moved out a few weeks after his 23rd birthday when we got married
when we got married we moved into a house we bought
we lived there until we moved to Grayson 11 years later
that was the longest I'd ever been in one place

I celebrated my 58th birthday a couple of weeks ago
this weekend I will have lived in Grayson 29 years
that is half of my life
it's strange, I still have a hard time feeling "attached" to this place
but I can't imagine living anywhere else until God calls me home
