a gift that speaks the language of the heart

it may be cream colored, but this is no plain, ordinary, "vanilla" blanket
one of my guys brought it to me today
it is an unexpected Christmas gift 
that took my breath away
that caused happy tears to flow
that I will never part with, even if when it's best days are past
because every time I see it my heart will hear, "I love you mom"
