I hear you God...

Never underestimate God's attention getting creativity 

I have absolutely no idea how that baby praying mantis got into my house, let alone to my kitchen and up to the dish drainer. I might have crushed it and been disgustedly looking at bug guts smeared on my hand if I'd done my normal quick grab and put away. I do know that when I saw this tiny little guy my heart immediately slowed, a disproportionately large smile spread across my face and I breathed in deeply the peace of God and thanked Him for this beautiful, natural, living reminder as I walked it outside to a more appropriate dwelling space.

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
