bold

I wish I could tell you this was the first time packages have been left nearly blocking the door, but I can't. (One time I had to go through the back door because a large, unwieldy box was leaned against this door.) I wish I could tell you I've never had boxes soaked by rain because they were left on that corner, but that would be a lie. I wish I could tell you that if I ever see the person who consistently leaves things here that I will be bold and ask them to please walk up the three steps and leave my deliveries on the other side of the porch where they don't block the door and are more protected from the elements, but I'm not sure I'll have the nerve to do so because a few months ago the opportunity presented itself and I passed...

Big sigh. 

Maybe one day I'll master the whole confrontation thing.

(And I'm thankful for the UPS and USPS men who are protective with my orders.)
