the value of being broken

 

being broken,

especially by forces outside my control,

uncovered a different shape than the outer shell boasted,

revealing an inner beauty 

I would not have been aware of otherwise.

I am thankful these kinds of change 

expose 

rather than negate 

or define 

worth.
