new places

It is with some embarrassment that I write this.

I am nervous.

I don't get nervous.
But when my tummy started hurting last night,
I realized, I am nervous.

Last Thursday our girls went somewhere they have never gone before.
This morning I realize I was nervous then.

Tonight we are going to a whole new place.

Thursday night we played soccer in Greenup County.
It was our third trip to that field in a week.

Tonight we play at Rowan County.
We played there last year.

These girls have played a lot of games together.

But never at this level.

Thursday night we played in the district championship game.
Playing in the championship guaranteed us a spot at regionals.

A whole new place, a whole new level.
I am excited!
(and nervous...)
