dreams do come true

I received this picture while I was at Ruth's.

The 70 foot flagpole has been delivered.

Three sections and a sleeve.

I received this text last Thursday morning:

The goal was $15,000. 
I am not surprised it was surpassed in just over 3 months.
We know some very loving, giving people.

This evening I watched this happen:

Soon a crane will be rented, the three sections of the pole will be assembled and lifted into the sleeve that was cemented into the ground today.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your gifts. Money, encouragement, sharing the fundraiser information, prayer support or any combination of those things. This would not have happened without all of us working together.

The dedication and a short Memorial Service is planned for September 29 before the Homecoming Football game. We'd love to have you join us and help us celebrate Bill's life and seeing one of his dreams come true.
