kissing toads

I found this fella in my backyard the other evening. 

He is a handsome specimen. 

He made me smile.

I thought of the saying, "You have to kiss a lot of frogs (or toads) before you meet your Prince Charming", but since I ain't looking for a prince, I didn't kiss him. 

No sense in taking a chance of complicating our relationship.
