Fans

Fans:
move air around, but don't change the temperature of the air.

Fans:
cheer (or boo) those who are participating.

 

At times I am guilty of being a fan.
Moving stuff around, but not changing anything.
Cheering for those who are doing things I approve of.
Booing those who are not performing in a way that pleases me.

As a Christ follower, being a fan is not a viable way to live.
I am called to allow God to work daily in my life to change me.
I am called to share the good news of His life, death and resurrection.
I am called to participate in, not be a spectator of, this wonderful thing called life.
