righteous anger

Wednesday I found out that four children were removed from a home that was unsafe. I was upset that the children had been neglected.

Today a friend invited me to help her pick out clothes for the children and we ended up delivering them.

Since meeting those babies and seeing that much more than neglect went on, anger is just the tip of the ice burg to what has been running through my body.

I was feeling guilty about my anger- until a few minutes ago when I wondered if this might qualify as righteous anger.

Praying for the children and advocating for them is easy.

Praying for the aunt who has taken them in is easy.

I am definitely fueled and motivated to help provide what they need.

I have even found an easy way to pray for the adults who abused them and those who allowed it.

I REALLY want to do the right thing.
So I will keep praying that God shows me what that is.

After a night of restlessness I have to confess, I know what it is- pray they meet Jesus. And I mean here, not in the hereafter.:)
