Beach prequel was a stellar day

I did a new thing today-

actually, I did several new things today

#1 I was on the road two minutes before my target time

#2 I found a penny in an Alabama gas station parking lot

#3 I enjoyed the first of a weeks worth of Alabama sunsets

#4 I did the driving for almost 12 hours of travel, Sarah as my copilot for 81/2 hours

#5 I am good

not stressed

not anxious

tired, but not exhausted

I am looking forward to driving 2 1/2 hours to reach the beach tomorrow

it's been a great day
