Sunday morning musing
There is no wrong time to trust God. Even when-no, especially when- it is not easy. Taking time to pick up reminders that "In God I trust", even if I don't have pockets and have to carry the prompts in my hand for a mile or more, makes complete sense. (also 7 cents? More about that below.)
The significance of 7
God rested on the 7th day.
Philippians 1:3-6 "I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
Thank you christianity.com for the following concise explaination of thoughts that ran through my head:
"Numbers in Biblical times were often symbolic of a deeper meaning. The number seven is especially prominent in Scripture, appearing over 700 times. From the seven days of Creation to the many “sevens” in Revelation, the number seven connotes such concepts as completion and perfection, exoneration and healing, and the fulfillment of promises and oaths."
