At Christmas there are two movies I watch, every year:

It's a Wonderful Life

White Christmas

there are three I watched as a child:

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Frosty the Snowman

Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer

At Easter there is one movie I have begun to watch every year:
The Passion of the Christ
it is hard to watch, 
two hours and the dialogue isn't even in English!

it is painful, it is beautiful

it is brutal, bloody and discomforting, it is healing

my heart hurts just thinking about turning it on and I cry every time I watch it

so why do I subject myself?

Because it is by far the most powerful love story I have ever seen
