teeter totters
Even as a child I never really liked teeter totters.
Sometimes the way down ended in a painful bump.
The way up could be scary if the new kid on the other end was mean and threatened to keep you up there, knowing that if they changed their mind quickly the stop on the way down would be full of hurt!
The past 10 minutes has been a teeter totter experience.
One friend received something she has been dreaming of, something that will bring much joy. Our hearts about burst with joy.
Another friend received news that something she has wanted for years may never be hers, something good that would bring great joy and peace. Our hearts are broken.
I still don't like teeter totters.
That is how it was with Sabastian we were waiting to find out he was a he and we had five minutes of pure excitment and then bang crumble so yeah I dont like teeter totters either. :?
