familiar sights (and some not so familiar)

A new section of town today.

I have never been in a "tiered" park. There is as much park above as there is below. (And you can't even see the end here.) There were playgrounds for children, an amphitheater, a skateboard area, a parkour area, a small pond and more fun art.

 

 

In 2015 there was flood in Tibilisi that included the zoo. Many animals lost their lives. The hippo did not and this statue, at the end of the park, is in honor of it. 

Not all underground walkways are scary.

And not all graffiti is abstract or inappropriate.
