underground adventures
Today's adventure
Walking to a new store, again looking for containers.
(There ain't no Walmart or Target or Dollar General or Family Dollar here.)
Which included walking down stairs to the belly of the underground bazaar...
(And I thought the Bazaar we visited yesterday was crowded!)
Paying to ride the Metro. Turns out tapping the payment card isn't as easy as it looks. Deborah took good care of me and helped.
An escalator down to the Metro...
(yes, it was more than a little frightening)
Riding underground...
I would have taken a picture of the Metro,
but I didn't have my phone.
(Deborah kindly took pictures for me today.)
And, I may have been suffering a little motion sickness.
I also got a lesson on what to do if I ever get separated from Deborah.
The same talk the kids have received.
Ride to the next stop, get off and sit. They will come back for me.
(I'm telling y'all role reversal is a real thing.)
An escalator up to ground level.
A lot less scary.
And paying for books, with Lari, by myself!
