Don and Carole's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Fifty years is a long time
though now that I am older than that it doesn't seem all that long
but when a couple has been married 50 years
that represents a different kind of years
it is a big deal
people take notice
and when they celebrate that marriage, 
deeper in love than when they began the journey,
it is a beautiful thing to celebrate
