holding on and letting go
Holding on.
Letting go.
Sometimes it is difficult to know which is right.
I have been holding tight to something.
Like a tick on a dog tight.
I am confident I was supposed to being holding on.
The last few days, however, I have sensed a change
and though nothing appears different today than it did a week ago,
I know without a doubt it is time to let go.
Holding on
to my conviction that it is time for this change
while letting go
of something that is not wrong, just not right for now.
That is what I will be implementing this week.
holding on and letting go is a dance
it is required to keep our lives in balance
it is part of cleaning-
the "stuff" we collect and the activities we commit to
this week I am doing both
Change.
It is one thing in living that is constant.
Letting go.

Change.
It is one thing in living that is constant.
*however,
there is one thing I will never let go of,
that I will hold onto until I take my final breath:
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for He who promised is faithful."
Hebrews 10:23
