I saw all of this today!

This is how it happened:

A friend invited me to join her extended family for lunch. It was good food and even better company. Mid afternoon we said our goodbyes and departed to our own little corners of the world. If you know me at all, you are aware of how much I enjoy being outside. Even on hot days, a fan blowing on you while you sit on the porch swing makes for an enjoyable experience. I took a book out with me to read as I swang. My eyes began to get heavy so I laid on my back, pillows propping my head for a nap. That's when the animal parade began. Right before I closed my eyes I caught a glimpse of something and was transported back to childhood as perfect clouds, moved and shaped by the wind, took on different forms. My favorites were the Lamb and the Lion because they made me think about Jesus. When I saw one shaped like a chicken, but only the drumstick, I glanced at the time. 5:58 means supper is in order. If it's been a while since you enjoyed cloud watching I highly recommend it.
