chasing rainbows

Mid afternoon I got to be the passenger as Noell drove my car home when I went to get her from work. She was concerned I might be nervous with her driving. I assured her I would be okay, letting her know I taught her mom and aunts and uncles to drive. She did a great job. I picked her up from the Russell County Fairgrounds early this evening and we got to watch a rainbow break through the clouds, becoming ever more vibrant as we drove to the DG to find a small fan. My heart is smiling from the blessings that surround me, big and little.

traffic was thick and moving at snail speed so when we got clear she was able to get a better picture...

I hope I never get over the wonder of God's reminder that He always keeps His promises. Sharing this with her today was a precious gift I don't take for granted.
