take a hint, enjoy the promise

the early  morning sky, 

with a thin fog covering the sun, 

caught my eye and stopped me from my "to do" first thing this morning

I knew it was coming,

but knowing didn't stop my delight when the sun broke through,

it was breathtaking and energizing

on the way to soccer games I saw another hint of splendor

I know it's on it's way because I've seen it's progression in the past

fall color combinations are my favorite

1 Corinthians 13:12 keeps coming to mind 

there is beauty here, in this world,

but it cannot compare to what is to come for believers

"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."
