Be aware

Our girls class on Sunday night has been studying the book of Esther.

Our plan for tonight was to watch
"One Night with the King",
a movie about Esther's life.

Observation one:
Be aware: Just because it is supposed to be a "Bible" movie there is no guarantee everything in it will be true.

Observation two:
Be aware: You cannot discern truth from fantasy if you don't know the truth.

Observation three:
Be aware: some "dramatic liberties" may bother you more than others.

Observation four:
Be aware: Watching a movie once is not the same as being prepared to use that movie as a teaching tool.

Observation five:
Be aware: Debriefing/conversation/question answer time is vital!

Be aware: we teachers/ assistants are responsible for what we bring into our classroom!
