competition

Competition is a strange animal.

It can bring out the best in a person.

It can bring out the worst in a person.

Tonight, it brought out the best in our girls soccer team as we played a very tough team. We came away with a tie- our record is now 11 wins, 2 ties and NO losses!!!

Tonight, it brought out the not so good in some of us adults- me included- at times.

Maybe,one day when I grow up, maintaining my Christian witness during an athletic competition my family is involved in will not be such a struggle!
(I am maturing, just not as quick as I would like.)
I am so thankful God is not done working in me yet!
