Have you ever had something mysteriously "disappear",
something that cannot possibly be replaced?
It is frustrating to say the least
and in this particular case,
I was heart sick.
I have been looking for this picture everywhere I could think to look,
long enough that I was beginning to think maybe I'd imagined it was a real thing.
Recently I resigned myself to the truth I might never see it again.
In a last ditch effort I swallowed my pride and contacted the photographer.
They are family friends and I was hoping they might still have it,
but it was taken seven years ago at Jonathan and Jess' wedding.
That is a lot of years and a lot of files and photos ago.
Today I received an email that my DropBox account was going to be closed.
I haven't used it in more than a year.
I thought all of the pictures stored there were saved on my computer
so I almost just "let it go",
but since saving the account was as easy as simply logging in,
I thought "why not"?
I am thankful I did
because I discovered photos that are NOT on my computer!
This is one of the treasures Drop Box has protectively sheltered.
