The Train Station and a New Friend

In the early days of this visit Deborah told me several places she wanted me to see. The train station was one of them. Today she mentioned it again. (I don't think she is ready to get rid of me yet, she didn't leave me there. :)

This is the train station. There is also a mall in this building. The bottom floor is called the gold exchange and it is filled with small vending areas where gold, in the form of jewelry and other items, is sold. Each "booth" is maybe six feet square. I would definitely get claustrophobic sitting there!
Other floors have electronics, appliances, clothing, shoes, toys, etc.

The top floor, several escalator rides up, has a food court.

Deborah took me out to the place you go to walk down to board the train.

As we walked out the back of the mall/station the sun was beginning to set.

This guy started walking with us not far from a grocery store we stopped at. He escorted us all the way to the apartment door. Only God knows why, on this walk, we gained a friend and maybe protector.*

*disclaimer: We were not threatened nor did we feel unsafe at any time.
