trusting, and working the process 72/366
In late January three things happened within days of one another.
- I was asked to join a small group (turned out to be a Leadership Book Club).
- I was asked to be on the Women's Ministry Team at KCU.
- And I was asked to speak at this event:
Wednesday March 4, on my way home from CIncinnati I stopped at the church and circled it, 7 times, praying as I walked. For the event. For the women who will be coming. For their families. For the Leadership and Pastor and families of the church. For their impact on their neighbors. For the enemy to be bound from disrupting what God has planned for Saturday and beyond. It was a bold time of prayer, but one I knew was necessary.
Getting ready has been a process.
It always is.
I am excited for Saturday.
copies of keynote presentation are printed out, powerpoint completed, breakout session prepared |
These last two pictures might look like an unorganized mess, but it isn't. This is what the final portion of the process looks like for me, everytime. This is actually more tame than normal.
props, object lessons, illustrations, gathered the only thing left to do: pack them up and load it all in the car |
By Friday afternoon this will be a book. The enemy tried to throw a fiery dart to shut down this project- it was deflected. |
If you'd like to join us in ministry
and cover this event with prayer,
we would appreciate the support and back up!
I am of the firm belief,
you can never have too many prayer warriors!
