my latest "oops" diagnosis ... 87/366
this morning I went to see my friend who would know...
it appears I have strained or pulled my right pec muscle
her recommendations include
continued ice
ibuprofen or tylenol
rest
be smart
take it easy
if it doesn't improve in a week, come back
as I left her office I realized that means
no pull-ups
no pushups
oh well,
all in the name of healing I guess I won't start those this week
(not that I had any intentions of beginning,
but now there is a definite reason not to)
I texted my kids and other family to let them know
I also called mom
that's when the seriousness of the situation got real
she said,
and I quote,
"that means no more rassling (a close kin to wrestling) for now either."
What?
no rassling? 🤼
Now what am I supposed to do with all my time?
