revisiting why I am writing 157/366
my posts this year are part of practicing my "word" for 2020
downsizing
I am writing to eliminate reasons/excuses to not write
exercising discipline and transparency over an "easy out"
everyday
honesty
in the good, the bad, the ugly, the ordinary, the spectacular
somedays it is easier to write than others
but the practice of doing it, whether I feel like it or not, has been good for me
and I hope,
along the way,
it has been helpful for others
to see that life is not just one thing
it is a compilation
of boring
exciting
humdrum
hard
easy
rejoicing
weeping
celebrating
anticipating
yielding
detouring
changing
stopping
racing
resting
working
waiting
standing
sitting
confessing
proclaiming
blessing
accepting
fighting
practicing
getting it "right"
failing
getting back up and trying again
part of my family is visiting for a week or so
and disciplining myself to write will be taken to a whole new level
thank you for joining me on this journey
