dumpster diving

everyone needs a friend who isn't afraid to dumpster dive with them

(my boys taught me that years ago)

you know, the kind of person who is willing to dive deep 

who isn't afraid of a little dirt

who isn't intimidated by those passing by

the rewards?

one man's trash is another man's treasure

tonight Anita and I added this event to our list of shared experiences

we ended up with 2 different kinds of outdoor winter lights

there's a tree, some spotlights and a few other things for the thrift store

less trash and more revenue for the mission

it's a win-win situation

especially when you factor in our laughter and a new memory
