Game Changer

I am often by myself 

but I am never alone

this truth is one of the most life changing things I have come to know

don't get me wrong

sometimes I feel lonely

sometimes the silence is deafening

sometimes the desire to be wrapped in a solid hug is painful

but I have found that my sweetest fellowship with God comes at these times

I may be by myself

but I am NEVER alone

contentment, peace and power accompany living in that knowledge

"Nevertheless, I am continually with You;

    You hold my right hand.

You guide me with Your counsel,

    and afterward You will receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but You?

    And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides You.

My flesh and my heart may fail,

    but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
