change can be necessary for growth

 

All it took was me moving it to a different location for this cactus to begin blooming after producing nothing for years.

I was excited for the first flower that formed in January, and more excited when I saw that second one beginning to grow a couple of weeks ago. If you look close in the picture to the right you may be able to spot two more tiny buds. 

I don't know if it's possible for it to change this much, but I am wondering if my Christmas cactus may now be an Easter cactus. What I know for sure is I keep wondering how many times I have failed to do what I was created to do simply because I refused to be moved...
