home is more than a particular place
life is much more than what I do
Family is the people I share life with. They have seen the good, the bad and the ugly, have born the brunt of that and have stuck with me, encouraging and loving me through it.
Home is where I share life with those people. In the US or overseas, it is any place I know I am safe and feel comfortable regardless of the furnishings or lack thereof.
My life is filled to overflowing with a mix of love, joy, pain, rest, work, hope, certainty, questions and purpose alongside moments of happiness and grief, fear, doubt, confusion, loneliness, what ifs and second guesses.
