My Maker, My Husband
In the midst
of tears
of an aching heart...
In the face
of adjustments
and figuring out new family dynamics...
I am experiencing an even more intimate relationship with God.
There are no words to explain the depths of
love
peace
hope
joy
confidence
rest
comfort
that I am experiencing.
I am in a sweet place
as I learn in a very practical,
very real way:
"For your Maker is your husband—
the Lord Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth."
"The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow..."
"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!
Amen."
