storms rage all around me, 

and sometimes, 

in me,

but I am not distressed,

I do not live in fear,

rather, 

I have hope

I can have peace in the chaos

I can rest in the midst of trials

I have complete confidence,

not in my power to do or change anything,

but because I am in the watchcare 

of the only One who has the power 

to bring calm to even the most frightening situations or circumstances

"You keep him in perfect peace
    whose mind is stayed on You,
    because he trusts in You.

Trust in the Lord forever,
    for the Lord God is an everlasting rock."
