what's it worth? 306/366

Sometimes I get caught up in using the wrong "measure".

I get concerned about what others think.

I get distracted by what people say-or don't say.

This evening while I walked I was reminded of something:

if it is not immoral

if it is not illegal

if it brings me joy

if I find beauty in it

if it points me toward God

if it helps me find peace

if it encourages rest 

if healing accompanies it

if it makes me examine my life 

if it draws me to practice truth

if it is important to me

it doesn't matter if it doesn't matter to anyone else.

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Philippians 4:8
