freeze pops are a delicacy

playing the Melissa and Doug bean bag game is like being at a carnival and especially fun when it becomes a generational competition with all the family playing

the sandbox is a place to make food for grandma

inch worms are a marvelous wonder to be shared 

you are king of the mountain

or queen of the mountain                         or a mermaid

or a dedicated snake hunter

riding on the expressway with the windows down 

is a wild ride,

 almost like being on a roller coaster 

         a rose is something to ask for so you can study it up close

and, if you are three, finding out that your momma's momma has a momma, it is worth mentioning those connections at least once a day with a look of awe on your face and a touch of wonder in your voice;

"grandma has a momma, 

grandma is YOUR momma 

and you are my momma!"

(If you don't have any children in your life, I highly recommend spending time with someone who does-your perspective will be changed, in a good way.)
