small change, big difference

 today I was reminded that a small change can make a big difference

those silver door pulls have been in my cupboard since last June

I forgot I'd bought them until I deep cleaned the laundry room today

and when I saw them I didn't think it had been almost a year ago

but receipts don't lie

so many little things are "lying around" me

small changes I've meant to implement in my life

but haven't,

for a variety of reasons

well, if I am being honest it's more excuses than reasons

I need to set aside some time soon to stop and think,

to clean out the mental clutter 

discern what's been buried or hidden or forgotten,

put aside good intentions

and get myself in motion to make the change(s) in my life that need to be made
