prayer warrior

when someone you love 

has consistently bathed you in prayer,

especially when you have something "big" going on,

and you call to check on them and they mention it's been a hard day

so you offer to pray with them,

knowing they are tired, 

knowing they have felt bad for a long time and it must be extra bad if they mention it

and when you finish praying for them

they insist on praying for you-

you know a few things:

1. the tears in your eyes come from knowing that was a prayer of love and sacrifice 

2. you've just been in the presence of a prayer warrior

3. your back is covered- and all the rest of you is too
