this is the room Bill and I courted in when we were at his house

so many sweet conversations have taken place here

conversations about the past and family heritage

conversations about the present

conversations about the future

so many good memories were made here

so many precious people have gathered here

I have pictures of great-grandparents with my kids in this room

I have pictures of grandparents with my kids in this room

the furniture has changed

the people who visit it now are different,

but it was, is and always will be the heart of mom Bondurant's house

I am thankful she shares it so willingly with me
