dancing with God

today I saw the wind

it blew one of these trash cans into the road

I stopped and returned it to the curb

as I sat on the porch eating lunch

I watched it make the pine boughs sway

and parts of my granola fly off the top of my yogurt!

on my way to the Mission Thrift Store

 I stopped my car in the road for the second time today, 

in awe of the beauty before me

to watch nature dance with God is a wondrous thing

it makes my heart sing

and my whole being long to move in step with Him
