"sometimes the night carries over into the day"

I don't even know what that means fully, but it was my initial and continued response to seeing the moon mid morning from the chair in my library during my quiet time.

My next thought was:

how powerful is the sun,

how responsive is the moon,

that the moon reflects the light cast by the sun

even during the day?
