 light dispels darkness

live in the light of Jesus

shine as you reflect His light

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12

 

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

(Jesus speaking in John 9:5)

You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Jesus speaking to His followers, which includes us, in Matthew 5:14-16)

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be 
blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world...
