this is how each one begins

the pages in my coloring journal,

a stress releasing gift from a friend

I have filled several pages over the last 18 months

and here's the thing that has remained consistent:

I never begin with a "plan" of what the end product will look like

I simply choose somewhere 

and begin

one color at a time

and build from there

slowly, 

but surely

working until it looks done

                                                               

That's kind of how I live my life too. 

Day by day. 

Doing the next little thing.

and before I know it, it's full and beautiful.

There may be a better, more efficient way, but this works well for me.
