choices

We went to a picnic tonight. The food was delicious and the choices plentiful.
Hamburger or cheeseburger. Hot dog- with or without sauce. Mustard-ketchup-mayonnaise-relish-onions-lettuce. Pasta salad, dill pickles, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, watermelon, chocolate cobbler, ice cream. Coke, sweet tea, water, kool-aide.

We are invited every day to make much more important choices.

Contentment or envy-jealousy-striving for more.
Forgiveness or grudges-bitterness-anger-rage.
Trust or self reliance-doubt-unbelief.
Hope or refusing to dream.
Love or indifference.
Jesus or self.
