this girl likes dolls

a lot

one of her aunts took her to the American Girl Store and bought her a doll

it is almost time for Selah and her family to return home

that means lots of airports

lots of suitcases

and the need for a safe way for this little lady, Rebecca, to travel

This afternoon I came home to find Selah searching the internet for options. 

Ones that needed to be here within the next three days.

Her momma found what they needed, but it wouldn't arrive in time.

situations like this are why I have a closet that looks like this:

the totes are full of fabric, the bookcase is full of stuff

and today they held the right combination

to make a copycat version of the American Girl travel seat

the result of a little imagination

and a little work

paid enormous dividends

a safe way for Rebecca to make it through the airports

and a happy girl who says our version is better because it was made with love
