broken, standing on His promises, whole

Life is complicated.

Significant loss is accompanied by

pain

lost-ness
sobs

tears

numbness

groanings

weakness

anguish

loneliness

These are not the whole of my life,

they are only components.

Because of Christ and His work in my life 

my grief is accompanied by

joy

found-ness
quiet

hope

peace

comfort

strength

assurance 

companionship

I am whole, even in my brokeness.

I am standing on His promises.
