It is time.

Putting it off does not make this any less real.

How do you summarize a life in a few lines on a slab of granite?

I wish there was a way to share what happened between the dashes because it is a beautiful story of love, grace, patience, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, joy, faithfulness and integrity.

I think that not being able to verbalize all of that 

and the fact 

that this is the very last thing I can do to honor my husband 

are the two biggest reasons I have not yet ordered the headstone.

It is time.
