I John

Our Wednesday night small group is beginning to study I John.
There were three of us in class tonight.
We took turns and read the entire book out loud.

We were listening for words that were repeated.
I thought I knew what I would hear.

I was in for a surprise!

I knew from reading that "love" is used often.

A word that doesn't seem to be used much kept popping up.
Sin (or a variation).

I am praying that we hear all that God wants to speak to us as we study.
This is going to be fun!
