The One Thing

The one thing that means the most to me,
the one thing that brings me comfort,
the one thing that brings me healing,
the one thing that brings me sanity,
the one thing that gives me purpose,
the one thing that gives me hope,
the one thing that gives me joy,
the one thing that allows me to have peace,
the one thing that allows me to rejoice,
the one thing that allows me to rest, 
is my intimate relationship with God.

Bill had one as well.

It is the one thing that transcends
time
space
circumstance.

That kind of relationship is available to everyone. 
EVERYONE. 
No exceptions.

It is a choice each one has to make for themselves.
Don't live wondering.
Don't die leaving your family wondering.

Do yourself a favor.
Do your family a favor.
Take care of the one thing that matters,
and the other matters in your life will be taken care of.

"But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”

Luke 10:41-42
